Inspect more carefully in large diamonds, emerald/Asscher cuts, stones with dark or centrally located inclusions, clouds that may affect transparency, or feathers/cavities near vulnerable areas.

Eye-clean is stone-specific

GIA does not issue an 'eye-clean' grade. Viewing distance, eyesight, stone size, shape, inclusion relief and lighting all matter. Ask for high-resolution face-up imagery and inspect the stone at realistic scale.
